Er war einerseits einer der besten Langstreckenfahrer und andererseits der Organisator des &#8222;Transcontinental-Race&#8220; (TCR), das fast 4000km quer durch Europa f\u00fchrt und inzwischen schon vier Auflagen mit stark wachsendem Zuspruch erlebt hat.\u00a0Kristof Allegaert\u00a0(43) \u2013\u00a0oftmals genannt &#8222;die Maschine&#8220; \u2013 war einer der ganz Starken und u.a. dreimaliger Sieger des TCR.<\/p>\n<p>Beim &#8222;Indian Pacific Wheel Race&#8220; (5.500 km) standen sich beide M\u00e4nner gegen\u00fcber und lieferten sich einen Kampf. Kristof war in F\u00fchrung\u00a0doch\u00a0Mike holte ihn in den Victorian Alps ein \u2013 insbesondere da Kristof wohl verschlafen hatte.
